RETURNS & REFUND POLICY

1. Original Art & Commissions (The "Bespoke" Rule) In accordance with EU Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) regulations, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Commissioned Works: Art created to your specific requirements.
  • Bespoke Orders: Pieces that have been personalized or modified at your request. All sales of original commissioned artworks are final. For non-commissioned original paintings, we offer a 14-day return window provided the work is returned in its original condition.

2. 14-Day Cooling Off Period (EU Customers) For non-bespoke items (such as standard prints or available-to-buy originals), you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receipt.

  • Notification: You must notify us in writing at studio@sineadguilfoyleart.ie within 14 days of receiving the item.
  • Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured service, as we cannot refund items that are lost or damaged in transit back to the studio.
  • Condition: Items must be returned in their original packaging and in "as new" condition.

3. Damaged Items If a piece arrives damaged, we will provide a full refund or a replacement (for prints) at no cost to you. We require photographic evidence of the damage within 48 hours of delivery to process these claims.

4. Refunds Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the refund will be processed to your original method of payment within 14 days.
